01-13-2013 Sunday Recruiting Thread (Alvin Kamara Update)

Alvin Kamara- Kamara announced Saturday afternoon that the Georgia Bulldogs would get his last official visit. For those that do not know, that is very good news for the dawgs. Kamara is expected to choose between Georgia and Alabama. The only difference between the two schools, the Crimson Tide are recruiting Kamara as more of a athlete (slot, wildcat, defensive back, etc) and the Bulldogs are recruiting him as solely a RB. This could win over Kamara.

Reuben Foster- We have heard nothing about his official to Washington, as soon as we do we will provides updates on the live thread below.

Laremy Tunsil- Tunsil will be headed back from Tuscaloosa, AL uncommitted today. That is exactly what the Dawgs needed to be able to finish off Tunsil on his official visit. Tunsil has been considered a lean to UGA for quiet sometime (possibly even a silent commit). We will have more updates when Tunsil is headed home.

Matthew Thomas- We have no updates on his visit but it is still early. We will have more tomorrow, but I would not expect any news of committing or anything like that. Thomas will take all 4 officials before deciding.

Montravius Adams- Adams has had a very good visit to Clemson, but he also had a very good visit with UGA staff Friday before he left and that has been on his mind all weekend. He will head back from Clemson today with a visit to UGA in the near future. Where does Adams stand right now? I would say neither team gained ground over the other over the weekend and that bodes well for UGA. Another thing, if Lawson stays committed to Auburn, I feel Adams goes to UGA. If Lawson switches to Clemson, Adams decision get’s tougher.

2014 Update——Lorenzo Carter did get his offer on Saturday morning.
Mike Bobo visited Clemson QB commit Deshaun Watson Friday night. Watson did not get the offer he wanted, but it could be soon coming. Watson could be UGA’s main priority at the QB position in 2014.
