Keller Chryst is a 4-Star prospect from Palo Alto, CA. He is a long shot for the Dawgs to land, but he is on UGA recruiting board.
Quinton Flowers is a 4-Star prospect from Miami, FL. He is one of the top DUAL threat QB’s in the country. Getting Flowers out of the state of Florida will be the tough part.
In this video we take a look at two QB prospects. Brooks Barden out of Cartersville, GA and Deshaun Watson out of Gainesville, Ga. Barden is a 3-Star pro style QB while Watson is a 4-Star DUAL threat QB. Both have very strong arms and both stand at the top of UGA radar list for QB’s in 2014.
OFFICIAL VISIT UPDATES:
Reuben Foster: Foster arrived back from his Washington trip and told media that Washington had a high chance to sign him on NSD. Foster is down to Bama, Wash, Auburn, and Georgia. Foster will take a few more official visits and it seems he will visit UGA the weekend on Jan. 25th, the same weekend UGA will host Monty Adams and a few others. Reuben says he might wait till after NSD to decide, and I believe that has a lot to do with academics. If he can qualify, he will be in the SEC at one of the three schools. Tray Mathews (Foster’s best friend) says that Auburn is eliminated from the equation. We will see……
Laremy Tunsil: Tunsil visited Tuscaloosa, Al this past weekend. He received a lot of attention from the coaching staff and Alabama tried to pull out all the tricks to land the 5-star OT from Florida. Tunsil enjoyed his trip to Bama, but UGA is still the clear cut leader for Tunsil and has been since the summer. Tunsil’s next stop will be in Athens, Ga and that could seal the deal as to where Tunsil will spend his next 3-4 years.
Montravius Adams: Adams has taken numerous visits to Clemson, and it has always seemed that the Tigers were the team to beat to land Adams. The fact that he went on his official visit and did not commit is very encouraging for Dawg fans. UGA coaching staff met with Adams Friday before he left town and new defensive line coach Chris Wilson had the opportunity to sit down with Adams and bond. That talk went very well, and UGA will host Adams on Jan. 25th with the opportunity to give Adams something to think about before NSD. This is a Clemson-UGA battle and the next few weeks will be interesting in this process.
Alvin Kamara: Mike Bobo, McClendon, Friend, and Lilly made an in-home visit to Kamara on Sunday afternoon. The talk went very well and as of right now in his recruiting process, UGA has a very good chance at landing Kamara. Kamara will take an official visit to Alabama next weekend, and UGA the following. As of right now, I see UGA a 75/25 favorite to sign him on NSD. The next two weeks will be the deciding factor.
Shaq Wiggins: Wiggins left Columbia, SC Sunday and said that the Gamecocks had a legit shot to switch him…..but he has been a media darling for over 6 months now and still is committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. Mark Richt called Wiggins on Sunday night and had a very good conversation. Wiggins is about a 2% chance of decommitting to Georgia, and it has been known that he wants to be a Georgia Bulldog for a long time. Wiggins has enjoyed the recruiting process, and who can blame him, this only happens once in a lifetime.
Matthew Thomas: We currently have no update on Thomas visit to Alabama except for the fact that he still has not clear cut #1. He will visit Athens on Feb 1st, a couple days before NSD.
Come talk UGA Football with us right here all day as we are a couple of weeks away from NSD!!! Go Dawgs!!

saw the news about watson down below and it reminded me of discussion about him a while back on lhb, in which it was asserted that uga was not interested and would focus more on another qb with a huge arm (name escapes me right now). anyone have any thoughts/ideas/info about what happened?
