Coach Tony Ball made a visit to current North Carolina commit Jonathon Howard. Could he be a backup plan for the Dawgs on National Signing Day?
Could UGA make a late run at NC State commit Kyrin Priester? He was committed to UGA at one time, but backed away from his pledge and eventually committed to the Wolfpack. It will be interesting to see how interested the Dawgs are.
Could Todd Grantham be making a late move after DE Antonio Riles? He is currently committed to Florida but has talked with UGA staff recently. Could he be the backup plan to Matthew Thomas if Thomas chooses to go in a different direction?
As of right now I view these three players as being the backup plans for the Dawgs on National Signing Day. Davin Bellamy is also a backup plan but he is likely to stay committed to the FSU Seminoles after his latest visit to Tallahassee. Things could get interesting for the Dawgs on NSD in 3 weeks.
Deshaun Watson will visit Athens this weekend and is likely going to get the offer he has been waiting for. Watson is the top 2014 QB prospect for the Dawgs and they are pushing to steal the 4-Star DUAL QB from the Clemson Tigers.
Reuben Foster- It looks like Foster will choose between UGA and Bama on NSD. Foster will be in Athens next weekend and his host Tray Matthews is his best friend that has already committed and enrolled at UGA.
Come chat with us all day today as we talk UGA Football and recruiting leading up to NSD. We will have up to the hour updates on current commits, targets, and potential offers going out to 2014 prospects.
Go Dawgs
