There has not been much information released about the official visits as of this morning, but their will be loads of information coming throughout the day and tonight and we will provide those updates as we get them. Here are a few updates that we have gathered.
Laremy Tunsil: We are hearing that Tunsil and his family assured CMR that Tunsil will be in Athens next year. Tunsil has been rumored to be all UGA and maybe even a silent commit throughout the last 5-6 months. I would say that silent commit is right now and his process is over except for him putting on that UGA hat on NSD.
Reuben Foster: All expect it to be a UGA-Bama race, but we are hearing Bama coaches might have said something Foster did not like yesterday. I received a text message last night that said “UGA might have a leg up for Foster, apparently Saban and Foster had a disagreement.” There was also speculation that Foster left his official early, but that hasn’t been confirmed. We will monitor this throughout the day.
Matthew Thomas: No update yet on his visit to USC.
Alvin Kamara: Kamara went into his official visit at Bama with UGA as his leader. What has Saban done this weekend? He has pulled the RB card back out. Saban initially recruited him as an Athlete (slot, wildcat, defensive back, etc) and now he is telling Kamara he can play RB. Saban will say anything to get someone on campus huh?
Deshaun Watson got his offer yesterday from UGA. I expect a UGA-Clemson battle for the next 10 months. He plans to be an EE.
